Salvador Framing was founded by two brothers from Spain, united by a shared passion for art, craftsmanship, and restoration.

Alejandro moved from Spain to London in 2021. As a painter with a deep connection to the visual arts, he quickly found his place in the world of bespoke framing. Since then, he has developed extensive experience in creating custom frames, mounts, and finishes, with a particular focus on presenting artworks with care and sensitivity.

Carlos moved from Spain to London in 2016 and has built a career in conservation and restoration, specialising in paintings and frames. His work has also brought him into close collaboration with interior designers, helping him develop a strong understanding of proportion, materials, and the relationship between artworks and the spaces they inhabit. Alongside his restoration practice, he has maintained a lifelong interest in painting and in exploring the dialogue between artwork and frame.

Drawing on our Spanish heritage and our experience in London's vibrant art scene, we founded Salvador Framing to bring together traditional craftsmanship, conservation expertise, and a contemporary curatorial approach to framing.

 

Our aim is to create bespoke solutions that not only protect and preserve artworks, but also enhance their character and presence, ensuring each piece is presented at its very best.
